About the course
The Doctor of Philosophy (Arts) is a higher degree by research that lets you pursue an original research project under expert academic supervision. You will join UOW’s research community, develop advanced research and analytical skills, and produce a substantial thesis that contributes new knowledge. Study can be undertaken on campus or by distance, with full-time or part-time options in Arts & Humanities. The programme emphasises independent research, methodology, and thesis development aligned with the discipline's scholarly standards.
