About the course
This undergraduate specialisation builds foundational capability in spacecraft design and space mission development. You’ll concept a mission and apply knowledge from your main degree to design, build and test a CubeSat subsystem within a small multidisciplinary team. The specialisation emphasises systems engineering approaches to solve complex problems and includes practical project management experience for space-related technical work. The programme develops engineering knowledge and technical skills aligned with its qualification level and industry expectations.

Graduates can apply space-systems and systems-engineering skills across technical roles and industries that deliver complex projects. Typical roles include embedded software engineer, systems engineer, earth observation scientist, data analyst, electronic or mechanical engineer, and project manager.
