About the course
Bond’s Medical Program is an accredited, accelerated pathway made up of two sequential degrees: the Bachelor of Medical Studies followed by the Doctor of Medicine. Students develop foundational medical knowledge and professional capabilities through small-group learning, simulation, community and clinical placements, and cultural immersion. The MD phase emphasises evidence-based medicine and integrated clinical training across key specialties, preparing graduates for medical practice in Australia and New Zealand.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared to progress toward registration as a medical practitioner and enter supervised clinical practice across hospital and community settings. The program’s clinical placements and integrated training support pathways into internship and early-career doctor roles, with exposure to areas such as medicine, surgery, mental health, child health and women’s health. This integrated Bachelor-to-MD pathway is designed for careers in medicine and broader healthcare leadership.
