Major in Sustainability

About the course

The Sustainability major develops skills to address complex global challenges such as climate change, resource use and the energy transition. You’ll learn how organisations reduce environmental impacts, manage waste and resources, and embed sustainability in decisions and reporting. Through hands-on projects you explore sustainable energy systems, governance, Indigenous perspectives on caring for Country and sustainable design. This is an undergraduate major in environmental sustainability.

Career outcome

Graduates may pursue roles and further study connected to Environmental Science. Graduates join research assistant, quality assurance, and industry science roles. Preparing graduates for science-related roles and further study pathways matched to the programme level.
