This postgraduate IT Management major develops management capabilities to complement your IT qualification. You’ll study areas such as knowledge management, data resources management and business analysis, with practical learning supported by Murdoch’s IT Innovation Hub. Designed with industry input, the major focuses on identifying and resolving real-world IT challenges and can be taken full-time or part-time within a related degree. The programme develops business and management knowledge aligned with its qualification level and professional expectations.

Graduates can pursue supervisory and management-oriented roles that bridge technology and business needs across many industries. Typical pathways include leadership positions in IT strategy, project delivery, information systems management and business intelligence.
