About the course
This undergraduate specialisation develops innovation and entrepreneurship capability to complement a wide range of Curtin degrees. You’ll build skills in creative problem solving and design thinking, and learn how to plan, organise and manage innovation. The units also support venture creation, including prototyping and strategies for starting, running and growing an entrepreneurial business or acting as an intrapreneur within established organisations. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates can apply entrepreneurial skills across many sectors, including start-ups, technology firms and the public sector. Typical pathways include creating or growing a venture, working as an intrapreneur, or moving into business leadership roles that drive innovation. Potential roles include entrepreneur, business owner, business partner and business manager, leveraging innovation methods to identify opportunities and deliver new products, services and processes. Preparing graduates for business analyst, management trainee, marketing, and operations entry-level roles.
