About the course

This Indigenous Pre Law Specialisation is a pathway designed to support Indigenous Australian students to build foundational knowledge and practices in law. On successful completion, students may apply for direct entry into Curtin’s Bachelor of Laws (B-LAWS) or the Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Commerce double degree. As an undergraduate specialisation in Law, it helps prepare you for further legal studies at Curtin. The programme develops legal knowledge and analytical skills aligned with its qualification level and professional expectations.

Career outcome

This pathway supports progression into an LLB and future legal and law-related careers by strengthening academic readiness and foundational legal understanding. Graduates who continue into the Bachelor of Laws may pursue roles across legal practice and community or corporate settings, including legal support work, compliance and regulatory roles, policy, advocacy and public sector work. As an undergraduate pre-law specialisation in Law, it is a stepping stone rather than a standalone professional qualification.
