About the course

This blended short course develops practical capability in implementation science to help health professionals translate evidence into sustainable improvements in real-world services. It combines a one-day intensive workshop with online learning completed over two weeks, focusing on key principles, frameworks, and the role of collaboration and stakeholder engagement. It is designed for applied health service improvement in Health Sciences. The programme develops scientific knowledge and analytical skills aligned with its qualification level and industry expectations.

What you might learn

Using an interactive approach, participants build knowledge of implementation science concepts and frameworks and how they support sustainable uptake of research and evidence-based practice. You will learn to identify common frameworks and methods, and gain practical tools to apply implementation science at work, including collaboration, engagement, evaluation, implementation theory and behaviour change.
