About the course
This undergraduate Illustration specialisation develops contemporary illustration skills through industry-informed practice. You’ll explore and refine ideas using a broad range of techniques and processes, experimenting across formats to respond to design briefs. The specialisation includes digital illustration and image-making that bridges illustration and photography, and builds your ability to visualise narratives and communicate concepts as a technical practitioner and visual communicator.
Career outcome
Graduates can apply illustration and visual communication skills across creative and commercial contexts. The specialisation supports pathways into roles producing digital and traditional imagery for storytelling, branding and content, including freelance illustration, design studio work, publishing and editorial visuals, advertising and marketing collateral, and creative media production.
