About the course
QUT College’s General English Program (40 Weeks) helps international students improve English for everyday life, work and study. You build fluency and accuracy across reading, writing, speaking and listening in small, interactive classes with task-based activities and regular progress feedback. The program suits learners from elementary to advanced and can support progression to further English study and pathways toward QUT. This is a non-award English language program in English & Modern Languages.
Career outcome
On completion you receive a certificate showing your study length, attendance and exit level. Stronger English communication can support better participation in workplaces, community and further study, including progression to English for Academic Purposes and preparation for tertiary courses. Graduates typically use the outcomes to improve employability and confidence in professional and social settings rather than entering a specific occupation. This is a non-award English language program in English & Modern Languages.
