About the course
This 20-week General English program at QUT College helps international students improve everyday and workplace English through small, interactive classes. You’ll build core skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening, with a placement test to match your level from elementary to advanced. The course supports confidence and fluency and can prepare you for further pathway study at QUT in English & Modern Languages. The programme develops education knowledge and teaching-related skills aligned with its qualification level.
Career outcome
On completion, you receive a certificate showing your study length, attendance and exit level, which can support applications for further English or academic pathway study. The program strengthens communication for social and professional settings and can help you progress toward English for Academic Purposes programs and later university study. This is a non-award language program in English & Modern Languages. Preparing graduates for education-related roles and further study pathways matched to the programme level.
