About the course
This undergraduate Event Management specialisation builds practical knowledge for planning, delivering and evaluating events in Australia and internationally. You’ll study event planning and promotion, staffing and stakeholder management, resource allocation and risk management, plus the environmental, social and economic impacts of events and festivals. You can also undertake an internship supporting real event delivery and on-campus event projects as part of your broader degree in hospitality and tourism.

Graduates of this undergraduate Event Management specialisation can pursue roles across the events, hospitality, tourism and public relations sectors. Typical positions include event coordinator, event executive/manager, event director and functions manager, with related opportunities in marketing and public relations.
