About the course
English for Academic Purposes 2 Extended is an intensive English language program that builds academic reading, writing, listening and speaking for university study at QUT. Delivered on campus at Kelvin Grove, it develops skills for essays and reports, referencing, research and presentations, while helping you adapt to an Australian university learning environment. This is a non-award English & Modern Languages pathway program. The programme develops education knowledge and teaching-related skills aligned with its qualification level.
Career outcome
This extended EAP program supports progression into QUT bachelor, masters or PhD coursework that require strong academic English, and helps prepare you for study tasks such as researching, writing assessments and presenting. Graduates typically use the outcomes to succeed as international students in university disciplines rather than enter a specific occupation immediately. This is an Others-level English & Modern Languages pathway course. Preparing graduates for education-related roles and further study pathways matched to the programme level.
