About the course
This Digital Finance specialisation builds advanced capability in emerging financial technologies and their impact on markets and organisations. Developed with the Digital Finance Cooperative Research Centre, it is offered within Curtin’s MBA and MBA (Advanced) and covers blockchain technologies, digital currency, market design, governance, regulation and management strategies. Students may also undertake an industry research project with DFCRC or a Curtin industry partner.
Career outcome
Graduates can apply digital finance expertise to leadership and specialist roles across finance, technology and regulation-focused settings. Potential career paths include chief financial officer, finance manager, blockchain consultant, central banker, and legaltech or fintech entrepreneur. The specialisation supports work in banking and finance, technology-led organisations, global trade, and roles that intersect with law and policy, as a postgraduate finance-focused specialisation.
