About the course
This undergraduate specialisation introduces core fashion design principles and processes, covering product and style development, promotion, and design thinking. You’ll explore fashion illustration through 2D media, learn garment design fundamentals for the body, and investigate trend spotting and “cool hunting” in contemporary culture. It also examines social, cultural and economic drivers of consumer behaviour and how trends emerge across street style and couture. This is an undergraduate specialisation in fashion design.

This specialisation builds fashion-focused knowledge that can complement a wide range of degrees and support pathways into creative and commercial roles. It develops capability in fashion concept development, illustration, trend research and analysis, and understanding consumer and cultural influences on style.
