About the course
Borromeo's Way is a microcredential designed to deepen biblical literacy and theological understanding for leaders working in contemporary Catholic school communities. It strengthens participants’ capacity to interpret the “signs of the times” and respond pastorally through Christian formation and evangelisation planning. A key feature is an international immersion in Ireland, connecting monastic heritage with Australian Catholic education and introducing SALT (Scripture and Liturgy Teaching) pedagogy.
Career outcome
This microcredential supports current and aspiring Catholic school leaders responsible for faith formation and evangelisation across whole-school communities. Graduates may apply the learning to roles such as religious education leadership, assistant principal or principal pathways, mission and ministry coordination, and formation leadership teams. The Ireland immersion and SALT pedagogy focus build practical capability to lead spiritual renewal and formation initiatives within Catholic education settings.
