The Acute Care Nursing Specialisation is a four-unit postgraduate specialisation that can be completed within the Master of Advanced Practice, or studied via the Graduate Certificate in Acute Care Nursing. It strengthens advanced acute-care nursing knowledge and clinical leadership, with emphasis on complex decision-making, evidence-informed practice, patient advocacy and holistic specialty care in acute health settings. This is a postgraduate nursing specialisation. The programme develops health sciences knowledge and practice skills aligned with its qualification level.
