About the course
The Master of Theology (Research) is a postgraduate research degree that develops advanced theological scholarship through a substantial supervised research project. You investigate key areas of theology and the Church’s understanding of faith in history, using rigorous interpretive methods within contemporary scholarship. The program is thesis-based, supported by at least two supervisors, and suited to those preparing for further doctoral study in theology. The programme delivers postgraduate depth in theory, applied practice, and professional standards for specialist career progression.
