About the course

This Master of Teaching Secondary is an initial teacher education course for graduates with a relevant non-education bachelor degree, designed to prepare you to teach in middle, secondary and senior college settings. Study online or on campus full-time or part-time, with flexibility to switch modes. You’ll build capability to plan inclusive, engaging learning, develop cultural and environmental awareness, and complete 60 days of professional experience to support teacher registration in Australia.

Career outcome

Graduates are prepared for careers as secondary and senior secondary teachers in Australia, with eligibility to apply for teacher registration across states and territories (subject to meeting additional requirements). The course supports readiness to plan and deliver learning for diverse students, including Indigenous learners, and to work in contemporary school settings.
