Designed for graduates with a non-education bachelor degree who want to become a primary school teacher, this initial teacher education master’s degree builds professional knowledge and classroom-ready skills. You’ll prepare to teach Foundation (Prep) to Year 6 and develop capability in curriculum, pedagogy and professional practice. Study is available online, supporting a career change into primary teaching at the Master’s level in Education & Teaching. Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for work as a primary school teacher, teaching Foundation (Prep) to Year 6, and can pursue teacher registration (e.g., with the Queensland College of Teachers) and employment across state, Catholic and independent schools in Australia.
