About the course
This Masters by Research is designed for qualified medical practitioners and surgeons to build advanced capability in independent surgical research. You will undertake structured research training with supervision from Deakin academics and workplace experts, supported by online resources. Training is coordinated through Waurn Ponds, with research typically conducted in your workplace and access to specialist facilities such as the Anatomy Laboratory when required. This is a Master by Research in Medicine focused on surgery.
