About the course
CDU’s Master of Social Work (Qualifying) prepares you to practise as a professional social worker across diverse settings, including urban, regional, remote and international contexts. The AASW-accredited course develops capability in social justice, human rights, culturally responsive practice, critical reflection, research and advocacy, supported by two substantial field placements to connect theory with real-world practice in Master-level social work training.

Graduates can pursue social work roles across government and community sectors, applying critical thinking and culturally responsive practice with diverse populations.
