About the course
This nested postgraduate program builds scientific and practical capability to manage water resources sustainably. You can tailor study for depth or breadth across integrated water management, surface and groundwater hydrology, water quality and public health, and sector leadership. The course draws on Flinders’ groundwater research expertise and develops your ability to analyse impacts and communicate solutions in water management at master’s level in environmental science.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for roles across government agencies, consulting and industry, and not-for-profit organisations involved in water planning and policy. Career pathways may include water resources manager, hydrology or groundwater-focused roles, water quality and catchment management positions, and project or program coordination in the water sector. Outcomes are aligned with a Master of Science specialising in water resources management and environmental science. Preparing graduates for senior management, consulting, entrepreneurship, and organisational leadership roles.
