About the course

This coursework masters degree combines genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry and physiology with computer science, statistics and applied mathematics to build core bioinformatics capability. It includes a major research project and provides broad training with strong foundations in computing and statistics, with pathways for students from diverse quantitative or life-science backgrounds. The program is based at Parkville in close proximity to the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, supporting real-world, industry- and research-linked learning.
