About the course

UOW’s Master of Research in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences (Information Technology) prepares you to launch a research career through advanced research training. You’ll work within a community of experienced scholars, completing supporting coursework alongside an independent thesis project. The degree builds research capability and expertise in information technology at Masters (research) level. The programme deepens expertise in software architecture, data systems, and emerging technologies for advanced IT leadership.
