The Master of Research in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences (Computer Science) is designed to launch your research career through a combination of advanced research training and a substantial thesis. You will join an active research community, work with experienced supervisors, and develop the skills to plan, conduct and communicate independent research. This is a Masters by research in IT & Computer Science. The programme deepens expertise in software architecture, data systems, and emerging technologies for advanced IT leadership.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue research-focused roles in industry and government, or continue to doctoral study. The degree develops capabilities in research design, critical analysis, and scholarly communication that support careers in R&D, innovation teams, data- and software-focused research environments, and academic pathways.
