About the course
The Master of Professional Psychology (MPP) is a one-year, APAC-accredited Level 3 program that provides psychology graduates with a fifth year of study towards general psychologist accreditation. It integrates evidence-based theory with professional practice through coursework, a research project and supervised placements. The program emphasises ethical practice, critical thinking and cultural diversity to support safe, client-centred psychological services in professional settings.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for supervised practice pathways leading toward registration as a general psychologist in Australia. The degree builds capability in psychological assessment, intervention, counselling skills, research and ethical decision-making, supported by supervised placement experience.
