About the course
Designed for qualified physiotherapists, the Master of Physiotherapy develops advanced expertise in musculoskeletal or sports physiotherapy, with an option to complete additional courses to qualify in both. You’ll strengthen evidence-based practice, differential diagnosis, exercise prescription and advanced clinical reasoning through coursework, research and mentored clinical placement. Study is flexible, combining on-campus intensives with online learning in a part-time master’s degree in physiotherapy.
Career outcome
Graduates can progress into advanced clinical practice focused on musculoskeletal and/or sports and exercise physiotherapy, using higher-level assessment, diagnosis and management of complex injuries and conditions. The program supports pathways toward titled practice (subject to relevant professional requirements) and roles in specialist private practice, sports teams and clinics, hospital outpatient services, rehabilitation settings, and clinical education. This is a master’s qualification for advanced professional physiotherapy practice.
