About the course

The Master of Physiotherapy (Pelvic Health) is designed to expand your scope of practice and develop advanced competencies in pelvic health physiotherapy. You will build deeper clinical expertise in assessment and treatment of pelvic health conditions across the lifespan, supported by contemporary evidence and innovations. The blended structure combines intensive face-to-face teaching with online learning and offers elective choices aligned to your interests and career goals.

What you might learn

Students develop advanced knowledge of pelvic health anatomy, physiology, diagnosis, management and complex case management to enhance clinical decision-making. The course aims to extend practising physiotherapists’ capabilities to deliver evidence-informed assessment and treatment for women’s, men’s and pelvic health presentations across diverse age groups. Learning is mapped to Australian Physiotherapy Association career pathway competencies to support progression toward Titling and specialist practice pathways.

Career outcome

Graduates can apply advanced pelvic health expertise in clinical physiotherapy settings, supporting management of complex pelvic health conditions across the lifespan. The program supports eligibility to apply for the Australian Physiotherapy Association title of 'APA Titled Women's, Men's and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist', strengthening professional standing and career progression. Career pathways may include advanced clinical roles in pelvic health services, leadership in specialised practice areas, and involvement in evidence-based service development.

Entry requirements

Designed for currently practicing registered physiotherapists, with at least two years of post-qualification clinical experience in the area of women's, men's, and pelvic health. English language requirement: IELTS 7.0 with no band less than 7.0.
