About the course
This Master of Philosophy in Earth and Environmental Sciences in UOW’s Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health is a research degree that develops advanced investigation skills through an independent, supervised project. You will plan and conduct original research, analyse evidence, and communicate findings in a formal thesis, building capability for higher research or specialist roles. This is a Masters by research in Environmental Science. The programme advances scientific inquiry through supervised laboratory or field research, data analysis, and thesis-based discovery.
Career outcome
Graduates may progress to PhD study or research-focused roles in universities, government agencies and environmental or geoscience consultancies.
