About the course
This award-winning master’s program prepares graduates for careers in medicines and medical devices development. You’ll study contemporary pharmaceutical industry practice across ethics and governance, regulatory affairs, health economics, drug design and formulation, manufacturing and packaging, and clinical development including pharmacovigilance and biometrics. In second year, eligible students can pursue an industry placement, research or further coursework. This is a Master coursework degree in Pharmacy & Pharmacology.

Graduates are prepared for roles across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector, supporting medicines and devices development from discovery to post-registration. Depending on electives and placement, career paths may include clinical trials and clinical development, pharmacovigilance and drug safety, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, drug discovery support, quality/manufacturing and packaging operations, and health economics or market access functions.
