About the course
The Master of Offshore and Coastal Engineering prepares engineering graduates to work on ocean and near-shore infrastructure challenges. You’ll build advanced capability in offshore and coastal engineering concepts with an emphasis on practical, industry-relevant skills and innovation. The course supports pathways into ocean-related engineering work across offshore facilities and coastal environments as a Master’s coursework degree in engineering. The programme strengthens advanced engineering design, systems analysis, and innovation management for complex industry projects.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles in offshore and coastal engineering across marine infrastructure, ports, offshore energy, coastal protection and consulting. Career paths can include offshore engineer, coastal engineer, marine structures engineer, project engineer, design/analysis engineer or engineering consultant working with industry and government.
