About the course
The Doctor of Theology (ThD) is a thesis-based research doctorate undertaken in partnership with the Catholic Institute of Sydney. You will design an individually tailored research program aligned to your background, methodology needs and chosen topic, with mentoring and participation in an active research culture. The degree culminates in an original thesis that makes a substantial contribution to theological studies at doctoral level in theology. The programme emphasises independent research, methodology, and thesis development aligned with the discipline's scholarly standards.
