UQ’s Master of Music is designed to extend the skills of practising music professionals through contemporary theory and practice. You’ll tailor study to your goals, with options spanning performance, conducting, composition, music theory, education and music technology. The program includes core research methods plus either a thesis or a professional engagement project, alongside advanced electives, to support specialised Master-level study in music. The programme advances creative direction, digital production, and design thinking for professional media and innovation-led studios.
