About the course

Designed for allied health and social care professionals, the Master of Mental Health develops advanced capability to improve how mental health services are designed, funded and delivered in Australia. You’ll build clinical and theoretical knowledge informed by contemporary research and policy, with a focus on leadership and system improvement. Study is delivered exclusively online in intensive seven-week units across multiple study periods each year. The programme develops advanced clinical reasoning, health leadership, and evidence-based practice for complex care environments.

Career outcome

Graduates are prepared for expanded roles across mental health services, particularly in leadership and management. The course supports progression in service design and improvement, care planning and coordinated support across stepped care settings. Skills developed may suit roles in clinical practice enhancement, mental health program coordination, community and social care services, and leadership positions contributing to reform and quality improvement in mental health systems.
