ECU’s Master of Laws (Research) enables you to undertake supervised research in a specialised area of law. You’ll complete compulsory research support units and produce a substantial thesis that contributes to legal knowledge. The degree builds advanced skills in legal research, critical analysis and scholarly writing, preparing you for research-focused professional pathways. This is a Masters by research in Law. The programme develops advanced legal analysis, professional practice skills, and specialist knowledge for complex legal and regulatory contexts.
