About the course
The Juris Doctor with embedded Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (JD/GDLP) integrates the academic law degree with practical legal training to support admission to legal practice in Australia. You build clinical and professional skills through supervised workplace placement arranged as part of the program. Studying in Newcastle City, the degree also provides a pathway toward recognition for practice in other common-law jurisdictions with further study.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue admission as lawyers and work across a wide range of legal and related roles.
