About the course
In a global landscape with competing voices, misinformation and reactive news cycles, only experts and innovators can cut through and make media that matters. A Master of Journalism at Monash University is more than a postgraduate career qualification. We are creating the leaders of journalism for the new wave of media, as well as developing critical communication skills for other careers. Journalism teaches you to think critically, scrutinise evidence and investigate the structural problems that permeate society – as well as the solutions.
Career outcome
These course outcomes are aligned with the Australian Qualifications Framework level 9 and Monash Graduate Attributes.
