About the course

The Master of Human Rights builds critical understanding of human-rights discourse and how it informs policy and practice. You’ll combine theory and practical approaches to examine contemporary institutions, advocacy and activism, and the philosophical and political roots of human-rights frameworks. The course takes multidisciplinary, multicultural and multireligious perspectives to develop a global view of rights and responsibilities in professional contexts. This is a Master coursework degree in human rights and law.

Career outcome

Graduates may work across sectors where rights, justice and inclusion are central, applying human-rights principles to complex global and community challenges. Roles may be found in international relations, NGOs and United Nations–related organisations, as well as in law, education, media, global health and human resources. The degree supports careers that involve policy development, advocacy, program delivery and accountability focused on human dignity and environmental protection. This is a Master coursework qualification in human rights and law.
