About the course
This Master of Global Public Health develops the knowledge and skills to address current and emerging public health challenges in global and local contexts. You will learn to appraise public health evidence and contribute to collaborative programs and policies that improve health outcomes. The course emphasises sustainable development, inclusive policy and practice, and working respectfully with diverse communities, including ensuring Indigenous perspectives are heard in public health decision-making.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles supporting public health policy, programs and service improvement across government, NGOs, community organisations and international health settings. Career pathways can include public health officer, health promotion or program coordinator, policy advisor, project officer, evaluation/research support roles, and positions focused on health equity and social determinants of health. This is a Master coursework qualification in Health Sciences for work in public health practice and policy.
