About the course
UOW’s Master of Financial Technology Extension explores how digital innovation is reshaping finance, banking, payments, insurance and trading. You’ll build advanced skills at the intersection of finance and IT through applied study in areas such as data programming, information visualisation and machine learning, supported by case studies and industry engagement. The extension format provides additional elective choice and culminates in a FinTech research project as a master coursework degree in financial technology.
