About the course
UWA’s Master of Environmental Science develops interdisciplinary expertise to understand and manage complex environmental systems. You’ll build advanced skills across science, policy and decision-making, and can tailor the degree through specialisations such as environmental management, marine and coastal systems, catchments and water, rehabilitation, sensing and environmental data, or environmental economics. This is a master’s coursework qualification in environmental science.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles across government, consulting and industry focused on environmental assessment, monitoring and management. Career directions can include environmental scientist or advisor, environmental manager, marine/coastal or catchment officer, rehabilitation practitioner, environmental data and sensing analyst, or environmental economist roles supporting policy and planning.
