About the course
The Master of Design (Design Innovation) develops design-led innovation skills for designers aiming to lead change across business and social domains. You’ll explore design thinking, inquiry and innovation methods to create new systems, services and organisational approaches for complex, dynamic contexts. The degree includes core units plus a capstone in industry or research and electives to tailor your pathway in master’s-level design and innovation. The programme advances creative direction, digital production, and design thinking for professional media and innovation-led studios.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles applying design-led innovation to complex organisational and social challenges. Career paths may include design innovation lead, service and experience designer, design strategist, innovation consultant, product/service development specialist, or roles in transformation teams across business, government and not-for-profits.
