About the course
UNE’s Master of Cybersecurity and Computing prepares graduates to protect data, assets and networks and help secure critical infrastructure across public and private organisations. Designed for those with an undergraduate degree (including without an IT background), it builds practical computing and cybersecurity capability to tackle complex digital threats and data challenges. This is a Master coursework program in IT & Computer Science. The programme deepens expertise in software architecture, data systems, and emerging technologies for advanced IT leadership.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles focused on cyber and information security across government, critical infrastructure and private sector organisations. Career paths can include cybersecurity analyst, security consultant, incident response/support roles, network or systems security specialist, and related computing positions supporting secure software and services. This is a Master coursework qualification in IT & Computer Science. Preparing graduates for senior software engineering, data leadership, cybersecurity, and technology consultancy roles.
Entry requirements
Entry is based on a bachelor qualification or above (or overseas equivalent), or a UNE Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity and Computing.
