About the course

The Master of Creative Arts Therapy is a blended learning program that trains students to practise psychotherapy using creative modalities, with a specialisation in either drama therapy or dance movement therapy. The course combines theory, methods, research and professional practice across health, education and community contexts, with an emphasis on working with individuals and groups. Students complete supervised industry placements and learn through experiential, theoretical and practice-based approaches, including on-campus intensives at Southbank.

What you might learn
