About the course
This master’s course expands specialist knowledge and skills in clinical exercise physiology across a range of pathologies and population groups. You’ll learn to assess clients and prescribe, deliver and adapt exercise interventions to improve health and function for people with chronic medical conditions, injuries and disabilities, including cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. This is a Master’s degree in Sports Science.

Graduates can pursue roles delivering evidence-based exercise interventions in clinical and rehabilitation contexts. Career options include accredited exercise physiologist, exercise rehabilitation provider and holistic health case manager. You may work across public and private hospitals, broader healthcare services, and fitness and wellbeing settings. The course is accredited by Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA). This is a Master’s qualification in Sports Science. Preparing graduates for clinical leadership, health management, and advanced nursing or allied health specialist roles.
