About the course
The Master of Business Psychology prepares professionals to apply psychological principles to leadership, performance and collaboration at work without pursuing psychologist registration. You’ll learn to translate evidence-based insights into practical business outcomes, drawing on expertise from UQ’s large psychology school and coursework developed with UQ Business School. The program includes flexible study pathways and a tailored capstone to match career goals in workplace psychology at master level.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles applying psychology to organisational performance and people systems across private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Career paths may include organisational development or change specialist, leadership and learning consultant, workplace wellbeing or safety advisor, talent and performance practitioner, or internal HR/people analytics partner. The degree supports advancement into specialist roles focused on improving culture, engagement and leadership using business psychology at master coursework level.
