About the course
This double degree lets you study the Master of Banking and Finance alongside the Master of Commerce to broaden expertise across finance, banking and core commerce disciplines. You’ll build advanced analytical and strategic capability using real-world case studies and data-driven decision-making, with access to Macquarie’s Finance Decision Lab. The program is designed to fast-track learning while graduating with two separate master’s qualifications in banking, finance and commerce.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across banking, finance and broader commercial functions, supported by advanced skills in financial analysis, risk and business strategy. Career pathways may include corporate finance manager, credit risk analyst, finance manager, financial adviser/analyst, fund manager, auditor, economist, management or business consultant, product/brand manager, and stockbroker. Typical employers include banks, investment and stockbroking firms, superannuation and insurance providers, consultancies, and multinational organisations.
