About the course
Flinders’ Master of Arts (Women’s and Gender Studies) builds advanced critical understanding of gender and its intersections with sexuality, class and race. You’ll explore feminist politics, empowerment, human rights, Indigenous knowledges and LGBTIQ issues using intersectional approaches. Study is available online and/or on campus, supporting professionals seeking to challenge assumptions and contribute to a more inclusive society through scholarship and practice in women’s and gender studies.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles focused on gender equity and social change across government, NGOs and community organisations, as well as education, arts, advocacy and human rights agencies, consulting, media and private industry.
