About the course
Bond University’s Master of Arts (TESOL) is an online program designed for educators and aspiring language teachers to develop specialist capability in teaching English to speakers of other languages in culturally and linguistically diverse settings. You complete 12 subjects covering TESOL theory and classroom application, supported by interactive online learning. A supervised practicum of around 30 hours builds real teaching experience for work in Australia or internationally.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles teaching English as a second or additional language across varied educational contexts, including language centres and institutions supporting international students. The program supports both new and experienced educators seeking advanced professional development and capability in designing language programs and assessment, and teaching in traditional or online environments. Career pathways commonly include TESOL/ESL teacher and language educator roles in Australia and overseas with a Master-level qualification in education and teaching.
